A short list of community guidelines that keep the marketplace fair, friendly, and drama-free. By using Girl Math Marketplace, you agree to follow them.
Every offer is a soft contract. If a seller accepts, you're expected to pay and pick up within their stated window. Backing out earns a strike. Purchases at full price are "auto-accepted" by the seller and the transaction is initiated immediately.
Once you accept an offer, the item is reserved. No flaking, no quietly selling it to someone else, no surprise price hikes at pickup. If you cancel or no-show, you receive a strike.
Sellers set pickup and payment windows. Buyers, plan around them. Sellers, give buyers reasonable time before reporting non-payment or a no-show.
No harassment, no haggling after acceptance, no ghosting. Communicate clearly when life happens — most things can be sorted with a quick note.
Buyers and sellers can both get strikes. Too many and your privileges get suspended. Moderators review disputes — keep receipts. First strike prevents you from buying or selling for 24 hours. Second strike prevents you from buying or selling for 48 hours. Third strike prevents you from buying or selling for 7 days. Each subsequent strike after three subjects your account to review by a local community moderator.
List items you actually own, describe them honestly, meet in your region. No counterfeit goods, no shipping scams, no anything you wouldn't want done to you.
